Hot news for today is the leaked images of AMD Navi 14 graphics chips featuring ASRock Challenger RX 5500 XT, Gigabyte RX 5500 XT Gaming OC and only OC version. These cards were just a rumor and AMD kept silent about them after the official launch of RX 5500 4GB GDDR6 card. Leaks came from videocardz.com website.
These new Navi custom designed cards look beefy and ready to take challenge on taking mainstream gaming crown from freshly released Nvidia GeForce GTX 1650 Super and 1660 Super. Two particular distinct RX 5500 XT models are divided into 4GB and 8GB GDDR6 VRAMs. ASRock has attempted it’s best skills to design new Challenger card models and this one looks very pretty especially the backplate design. Factory overclocked frequency is 1747 MHz, way faster compared to reference boost clock 1717 MHz. Cooling type is dual fan design and includes 1 HDMI 3 Display Port connection.
Next up, it’s a Gigabyte RX 5500 XT Gaming OC and little brother just OC versions. The difference between them are the clock speeds and amount of cooling fans. Triple fan version is Gaming OC model and dual fan only is just OC model. Whopping 1737 MHz boost clock belongs to Gaming OC and only 1733 MHz goes to just OC unit.
