Geforce RTX 2080 Ti On Playing Call of Duty: Modern Warfare at 4K Resolution With Ultra Settings – D3D12 FPS Test

Multiplayer games are awesome when we play them using high-end PC hardware to forget about minimum requirements. NVIDIA is still the dominant player in offering high-end GPUs like RTX 2080 Ti and RTX 2080 Super to hardcore gamers. A well-known Joker Productions Youtube channel share their experience in testing RTX 2080 Ti on playing Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. Their gameplay setup includes Core i9 9900k, 32GB DDR4 RAM, NVIDIA Driver 436.30 and Windows OS (maybe 10).

Map

Allegiance reminds wilderness of Afganistan or Pakistan that lacks water and wet air. But the sun shines very bright and recognizing the enemy is easier. Therefore, this map is being played a lot. One disadvantage is spotting can be difficult to see unless you start shooting which lets you observe the direction of your shot bullets.

Imagine if you combat enemies on this place; surviving would be unreal – no water, no food, hot weather, and sweating body situation could make you miss your comfy home. Here, you play for domination, meaning that your team should kill more enemies and the number of your members must be more than your enemy team.

D3D12 Benchmark

They prefer D3D12 benchmarking app while there are many FPS testing apps available for PC games. The main purpose of this test is to learn how high is frame rate along with frame time. The lowest frame rate is 83 FPS during exciting gameplay. Frame rate becomes highest when 113 FPS shows up. So, the average frame rate is 98 FPS. For sure, 4k ultra settings tank GPU performance. We highly recommend you playing 1440 ultra settings although your GPU is premium from legendary NVIDIA.

Thermals

Throughout the whole gameplay, 80-81 degrees in Celcius were on top left of the screen. Poor GPU becomes hotter than the human’s blood. Therefore, coolers are meant to exist for extending the lifespan of both CPU and GPU.

Visuals

RTX 2080 Ti is still the best in delivering the clearest image of any PC game. Make sure its RTX is on for deriving the most out of games’ visuals. It would better to use Ray Tracing here but the testing channel did not consider that. Maybe, there is no ready Ray Tracing feature for this multiplayer game.
