Specs of ROG Phone 2 may be changed by Asus before the official release.

The biggest obvious change is their sizes. The sequel became bigger by 0.48 inches. So, the weight is heavier following the size. For sure, the display has a bigger size on ROG Phone 2. The most interesting is a change in refresh rate. The sequel has 30 Hz more than ROG Phone. OS is upgraded to Android 9 Pie on ROG Phone 2.

The most decisive step is upgrading SD 845 chipset to the latest SD 855+ along with Adreno 640 GPU which is the latest graphics too. From 8GB to 12GB RAM improvement is here too. Half TB of ROM is still staying inside maximum storage. There is also a major change in cameras. Asus has almost doubled the camera megapixels.

The last thing to mention is the battery. 2000 mAh is added to make 6000mAh for the new sequel. With super powerful performance and display, its battery can be dried up easily if you play a lot. However, business-oriented people can enjoy the long-lasting performance.
