SAPPHIRE NITRO+ RX 5700 XT Tested On Call of Duty: Modern Warfare at 1440p with Core i7 9700k

Gamers are getting many hardware choices in building PCs from several brands that offer reasonable prices. Mid-ranged Radeon RX 5700 XT is still in the central spot of PC gaming fans. Recently, several brands released custom RX 5700 XT GPUs that are overclocked and perform better than the stock version. Fanboy channel on Youtube, SapphireTechnology released COD: MW gameplay that tests Sapphire Nitro+ RX 5700 XT at 1440p with Intel Core i7 9700k processor. For better UX they use max settings in graphics.

1440p resolution does not give a burden to mid-range GPU to have a high temperature while playing a game with rich graphics. COD: MW causes 45 degrees in Celcius because the cooling system is backed by three fans. Cool! I wish all GPUs had at least three fans to overcome heating issues. For now, budget GPUs have a maximum of two fans. Higher resolutions can’t dwell their systems. Too bad!

Frame Time

On average 10.6ms frame time seen on COD: MW. Playing such games does not require frame time to be taken into account. We think the most considerable benchmark test’s element is frame rate while timing is good for testing in an application running.

Frame Rate

D3D12 benchmark testing is often used for gameplay, that’s why here they use it to reveal a true strength of Sapphire’s custom GPU. Unlike CS: GO this game takes quite a long time if we measure in milliseconds. However, COD has campaign mode with different storylines. I like to play with captain Price who encourages you to have a real man’s courage. On average 139 FPS grant us a passion to reveal our true gaming capabilities. So, 1440p is highly recommended for mid-ranged GPUs like GTX 1660 Ti, RTX 2070 Super, RX 5700 and more. I think there are more mid-ranged GPU sales than high-end GPU sales because 1440p is the most preferred resolution now.
