24 Cores AMD Threadripper 3rd Gen & Ryzen 9 3950X Announced For Official November Release in China

Very long-expected Ryzen Threadripper 3rd Gen and Ryzen 9 3950X are finally announced by AMD’s Senior Director Jason Banta in China. Starting from 24 Core count new 3000 series Threadripper will appear first half of next year or at end of this year. Also TRX40 socket will be only choice for the motherboards to run 3rd gen Threadripper chips instead of discontinued X399 support.

At last, Ryzen 9 3950X with 16 Core 32 Threads 72 MB Game Cache and Base Clock 3.5 GHz Up to 4.7 GHz Boost Frequencies is finally confirmed for November release this year. Total Draw Power will be rated at 105W similar to it’s younger brother Ryzen 9 3900X. All these information have been announced at the AMD’s Greater China Partner Summit in Beijing via mydrivers.com.
