Despite rising from C$25.44 to C$26.56 on July 6, the price fell and fluctuated between C$26.32 and C$25.93 from July 8 to July 12. Finally, after climbing from C$25.93 to C$26.82 on July 15, the stock declined to C$26.17 on July 19 and slightly rose to C$26.47 on July 20.
Barrick Gold reported prior sales for Q2 1.07 million ounces of gold and 96 million pounds sterling copper, also preliminary production in the second quarter of 1.04 million ounces of gold and 96 million pounds of copper. Barrick Gold is still on the way to achieving its target for 2021, with Africa and the Middle East, Latin America, and Asia Pacific area having a higher level of its regional gold forecast, and North America to lower.
