Harbour Energy (HBR.L) Shares Dip Amid Oil Price Volatility

On July 20, Harbour Energy declined in shares by 0.61%. The company loses 1.9 GBP since its previous close at 312 GBP. Currently, the price is standing at 310.1 GBP. The firm has been losing shares since the end of January 2021. Back then, the value was fluctuating at 400 GBP. The company’s EPS rate of -11,259.5 is also concerning. Since its debut on the London Stock Exchange on April 1, 2021, Harbour Energy equities have lost approximately 12% of their value. The stock has underperformed the early excitement around the merger and debut of the biggest UK-listed independent oil and gas firm.

Last week, Harbour Energy shares fell over 10% as oil price volatility returned to the markets. The company expected to increase oil output in the next few months, but because of disputes between Saudi Arabia and UAE on the extension of the eight-month plan the discussion is on a halt.
