Hedera (HBAR): What Is The Difference Between HBAR And ETH?

Today, Hedera jumped by 3.2% and is trading at $0.3413. However, the price of HBAR dropped by 11.5% in a month. Hedera Hashgraph provides the highest possible level of security, even when attackers are present on the network, using a system called aBFT, which is used by nodes. The Hedera Hashgraph platform supports the same object-oriented programming language that Ethereum uses, known as Solidity, which is commonly used for smart contracts.

Hedera Hashgraph works faster than Bitcoin or Ethereum blockchains because transactions can be processed in parallel, not sequentially, and have a small delay – sending and confirming a transaction by the network takes only a few seconds. By enabling smart contracts, the platform can be used to create decentralized applications (gapps) that can be used for various use cases, including games, decentralized finance (DeFi) products, digital identification, and more. By comparison, Bitcoin transactions can take more than 10 minutes to confirm, and for most of 2020, the average transaction fee is maintained at more than $1.
