High End Radeon Navi RX 5950 XT Releases This Summer Together With RX 5800 XT

Many exciting CPU and GPU performance uplifts by AMD have been presented at CES 2020. Radeon RX 5600 XT is truly breathtaking product for budget 1440p and midrange 1080p gaming. In CPU side of thing, AMD leads for sure and even light years ahead of Intel after Ryzen Threadripper 3990X teared apart every Intel HEDT processors.

One worrying department for AMD is GPU side. In fact, Nvidia has kept the performance crown for nearly decade with it’s Maxwell, Pascal and Turing GPUs. Currently, GeForce RTX 2080 Ti is the fastest high end graphics card in the market. For almost one and half year AMD couldn’t beat Nvidia in high end segment unfortunately. Rather, AMD really focused on Ryzen development process to beat Intel effectively.

However, there is always light in the of the tunnel. Today’s hottest news gushed from YouTube channel Gamer Meld. Luckily, during CES 2020 he was able to get in touch with AMD marketing executives through video conference and one on one meeting. One important question he could able to ask AMD representatives and it was about high end Navi GPU. They answered “yes it exists” and it’s coming this summer but no specific date stated by them. Moreover, AMD and Nvidia third party partner AFOS Corporation Limited has just submitted specific Radeon RX model names to EEC (Eurasian Economic Commission) including RX 5950 XT, RX 5950, RX 5900 and RX 5800 XT respectively. Most interesting part here is that application is approved on 14th January 2020. By far, it is the most fresh application with specific name and Gamer Meld is confident that final model names are confirmed with non-exclusive partner of AMD. Let’s see how RX 5950 XT hold up against RTX 2080 Ti in terms of raw performance in this summer release.
