Intel’s Gemini Lake Reportedly Gets Refreshed With Six 14nm SOCs Coming Later This Year

For entry-level mobile chipsets, Intel prepares six SOCs that come under the umbrella of 14 nm GoldMount Plus architecture. Fanlesstech reports that Skyhawk Lake halts to appear for a while. Desktop chipset Pentium J5040, Celeron J4125 / J4025, and mobile Pentium N5030, Celeron N4120 / N4020 that are employed in Chromebooks and budget laptops will be announced this year.

The upcoming SOCs will still feature Intel’s UHD integrated graphics and stay on the basis of 14nm architecture. There is a high chance that eventually higher frequencies might come. 2020 will be a year of their debut on the mass market.

People already know 1oth generation Ice Lake SOCs with 10nm architecture are just being offered to the mobile market in which laptops and tablets will be getting tested by fans and reviewers. Time will show whether Intel improved them or not.
