Lockdowns have obviously stopped Regis to operate normally for several months. Hence its franchises and fully owned branches became busy cutting costs and layoffs. Even now the hairstyling chain finds it hard to emerge due to hard macroeconomic conditions.
Back in 2018 Regis could make $6.44 million. Of course, that time was the ripe period for personal service segments. However, it needs external funding to boost operational routines for a while so they could roll due to the snowball effect.
The recent partnership with Zenoti adds a significant value to running the branches but in the long term, the company still needs financing to pave a way for generating profits.
