ITV gains 4.1% and 4.75 GBP in today’s trading session. The company is standing at 120.65 GBP. The previous close was fixed at 115.9 GBP and opened at 115.55 GBP. ITV’s shares have significantly declined in early 2020 when the prices fell from 136 GBP to 54.42 GBP. Fortunately, the company managed to improve its price values by the end of 2020 and is gaining strength in 2021. The share price of ITV has increased by 81% in the last year, outperforming the market return of about 20%. As a result, the company’s shareholders should be pleased. On the other hand, longer-term investors have had it rougher, with the stock dropping 28% in three years.

In the previous twelve months, ITV stockholders have received an 81% total shareholder return. That is a significant improvement from a 3% loss each year over the last half-decade. While longer-term shareholders might not be as happy, short-term results hint at a brighter future.
