MicroVision (MVIS) Stock Is Overestimated Despite The Poor Performance This Year: Memes Will Push It Up Again?

MVIS Stock is losing its price by 3.64%, from $16 to $15.35. Today, the stock is also anticipated to drop by 0.59%, from $15.35 to 15.26. This small decline in stock price is nothing, however, in the last month, the stock was dropped from $21.28 to $15.35. From the beginning of the year, the stock was $5 and finally grew to $15 for today.
MicroVision is still a Reddit stock winner in 2021, despite a roughly 10% drop from June 21 to June 25. MVIS stock is up over 178 % for the year as I write this piece. It’s difficult to argue that ordinary investors haven’t had a good run. The stock is rising as a result of their belief — and the fact that short interest is hovering around 17%.

MicroVision has signed a deal with Microsoft (MSFT) to help with the Hololens project. That is a major achievement, but it is not the same as a contract for autonomous vehicles. The possibility of lidar in self-driving vehicles is the major catalyst for MVIS stock.
