NatWest (NWG.L) Share Price Grows 65%: What is Happening?

Share price indicators are not stable during the month. On June 23, the share price was 204.70 GBP. Two days later, they increased by 208.56 GBP. At the end of June, the shares fell by 202.00. The lowest price drop was on July 8, the shares were trading at the price of 195.00. A week later, the shares rose by 209.65 GBP. Today, the shares are trading at the price of 197.00.

NatWest Group’s share price is 65% higher than it was a year ago, much better than the market’s return of about 20% in the same period. If he can maintain these indicators at a high level for a long time, investors will be fine. On the other hand, long-term shareholders had a harder time: their shares fell by 17% in three years.

Although markets are a powerful pricing mechanism, share prices reflect investor sentiment, not just the main business indicators. Over the past twelve months, NatWest Group has turned from profitable to unprofitable. Although this may be a temporary phenomenon, we would consider it a negative phenomenon, so we did not expect the share price to rise.
