Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060 Ti LHR Produces 43 MH/s Using HiveOS Ethereum NBMiner, Most Efficient Mining GPU From Nvidia Yet

Nvidia did it’s best to limit Ethereum mining hashrate performance of RTX 3000 series gaming cards through driver to hardware handshake method, but alas, NBMiner still could unlock the latest variant of RTX 3000 cards’ mining performance by up to 70% potential.

Just a couple days ago, crypto mining hobbyist channel by name Andreas Waatz could be able to reach up to stable 42-43 MH/s using RTX 3060 Ti 8GB LHR GPU in HiveOS.

Specifically, trickiest part here is an OC setting for RTX 3060 Ti on NBMiner Ethereum miner. Astonishingly, RTX 3060 Ti LHR has special configuration in HiveOS thanks to this mining enthusiast who sets the core GPU clock at negative -500, memory clock at 2450, power limit at 120W and fan speed at 80%. Maximum hashrate of RTX 3080 Ti LHR 12GB card was recorded at 86 MH/s by Son Of A Tech channel three weeks ago.

In a nutshell, RTX 3060 Ti LHR made a record 43 MH/s in Ethereum mining performance depending on what custom cooled card you purchased due to cooling design and default factory overclock. Lucky Andreas Waatz got Aorus Master RTX 3060 Ti LHR version where obviously Gigabyte provided best cooling materials like high quality thermal paste for GPU and pads onto memory modules. Some people disagree on that because they think memory chip Samsung is the key part of getting higher hashrate due to exceptional silicone lottery.
