Ocado Group (OCDO.L): Since The Beginning Of 2021, The Shares Have Been Falling

After great success in 2020, the share prices of Ocado Group started to fall in 2021. At the beginning of 2020, the share price was at 1,265.50GBP, and a year after it became 2,360GBP. During the year, it hit the highest price of last three years at 2,895GBP. As I mentioned, the prices are lower in 2021, and on the 19th of July, it opened at 1,761GBP and closed at 1,771GBP decreasing by 34GBP from the previous close. The total volume exceeds the average volume by 1,7 million GBP. The EPS is -19.90.

On Monday morning, shares of online grocer Ocado fell more than 3% as investors absorbed news of a warehouse fire at one of the company’s fulfilment sites in London.

According to the company, the fire started when two of its grocery-picking robots collided. The Erith facility, which processes up to 150,000 orders per week, was evacuated with around 800 employees.
