Organto Foods, an integrated producer of organic and value-added organic fruits and vegetables, today announced the results of its 2021 Annual General Meeting, which was conducted in Vancouver, British Columbia on June 28, 2021. At the Annual General Meeting, 65,909,354 common shares were voted on, representing about 26.0 percent of all eligible outstanding shares, with almost 99 percent support for all topics on the agenda.
The shareholders also agreed to appoint Dale Matheson Carr-Hilton Labonte LLP, Chartered Professional Accountants, as Organto’s independent auditor for the coming year, and to ratify and approve the continuation of the Company’s Share Option Plan and Restricted Share Unit Plan until the next Annual General Meeting.
