Petroleo Brasileiro (PBR) Still Shines At Buyers: What You Should Know About Papa-Terra Oilfield?

On the chart for the last five days, the stock was fluctuating at $10.98 from July 15 till July 16. Then, it sharply fell to $10.19 on July 17 and held at that level till July 20. After, the stock increased to $10.43 and still fluctuating at the same level. The day’s range of the stock is $10.45 – $10.65.

Petroleo Brasileiro reported about the selling of the stake at the Papa-terra oilfield which is located at the Campos Basin in Brazil. However, the company owns more than 62.5% of the Papa-Terra. The sum of the deal is approximately $105.6 million.

Offshore, the company which is going to buy it already paid $6 million and after the deal, it will pay $9.6 million. $90 million which is left will be paid through contingent payments. Petrol is focusing its resources on world-class assets where the company already had a good rank. This deal is one of the deals which will help the company to increase the returns of the shareholders.
