PowerColor RX 5700 XT Red Devil vs RX 5700 XT: Which Is Better in Gaming Tests

Many reviewers claim the new custom PowerColor RX 5700 XT Red Devil can be better than ordinary RX 5700 XT. Could one believe in their claims without testing? For sure, no. A youtube channel called Benchmark PC Tech took an initiative in testing them via games. Let’s see if the reviewers are right.

The channel started with Battlefield which revealed Red Devil has 2 average FPS higher than ordinary at 1080p resolution.

At 1440p resolution, ordinary 5700XT has 3 average FPS lower than Red Devil.

4k resolution gave only 2 more points to Red Devil but it wins here too.

Deus Ex: Mankind Divided barely lets Red Devil win by getting 1 average FPS at 1080p.

Here the same scenario comes too.

At 4k the same thing happened.

The channel showed other gameplay tests which revealed Red Devil barely wins normal 5700 XT by getting maximum 3 average FPS at 1080p, 1440p and 4k resolutions. In some games, they get the same results but overall superiority goes to the Red Devil. By the way, they used Ryzen 7 3700X processor, ASUS ROG Strix X570-E Gaming motherboard, Ballistix Elite 16 GB DDR4 RAM, Noctua NH-D15 CPU cooler and Samsung 970 EVO PLUS 1TB SSD.
