Ryzen 3 4300U Quad Core APU Beats Core i5-10210U & i7-8550U In PassMark

New APU benchmark entry in PassMark database has just shown up to be an upcoming Ryzen 3 4300U Renoir APU from AMD. These benchmarks are the rough idea on how much raw power the CPU chips can produce theoretically. Amazingly, Intel Core i7-8550U is beaten by Ryzen 3 4300U by little margin even though i7-8550U has Hyperthread technology, whereas, Ryzen 3 4300U is a full fledged quad core without SMT (Simultaneous Multi Threading). Moreover, freshly released Comet Lake Core i5-10210U is slightly faster than AMD Renoir APU but comes with hefty price in mainstream laptop market compared to budget oriented Ryzen 3 4300U APU.

Mindbogglingly, Ryzen Renoir APU has demolished Intel Kabylake R chip at 15W maximum TDP. It translates just how much power efficiency 7nm Ryzen 3 4300U APU can hold it’s 2.7 GHz frequency stable within 15W. Furthermore, Ryzen 3 4300U is accompanied by RX Vega 6 iGPU that simply light years ahead of  Intel UHD 630 graphics in terms of 3D performance. UHD 630 graphics is found on most of Intel’s Comet Lake U laptop processors.

Shockingly, single threaded benchmark rating indicates that Ryzen 3 4300U nearly 20% faster than Core i5-10210U. Easily everyone will get to know that aging 14nm++ process technology of Intel is outdated for mainstream laptop market. Big thanks goes to Tum_Apisak from twitter for finding out these comparison benchmarks.
