Whitbread (WTB.L) Shares Grow 35% Over The Past 12 Months

Whitbread shares have increased by 6% since the beginning of 2021, and have increased by 35% over the past 12 months. The shares reached their highest value in April and amounted to 3,529 GBP. From May to June, the shares were worth 3,203 GBP. As of today, the shares are trading at the price of 2,839 GBP. The development of Whitbread is beginning to get better. The company has a strong brand and a valuable offer that should help. The UK has not completely come out of isolation, but when it makes a trip around the UK, it should return to the pre-pandemic level. This should improve the company’s revenue.

But, it is highly dependent on the UK to ease the isolation. If there is another Covid-19 delay, it could hit Whitbread shares. The company also faces stiff competition from other hotel chains, as well as companies such as Airbnb. Customers are fickle and love value for money, so there is no guarantee that Whitbread will become a leader because of the boom in parking. Despite these risks, we believe that everything looks promising for the company. Now there is a good recovery, and we believe that this can continue.
