SPACs or special purpose acquisition companies have been in focus among investors in recent weeks and today Vector Acquisition Corp (NASDAQ: VACQ), another SPAC, is expected to be in focus.

According to a report in the Wall Street Journal on Sunday, the company is on the verge of reaching an agreement with Rocket Lab USA to take the latter public. By virtue of the agreement, the merged entity is going to be valued at $1.5 billion, and hence, it is easy to see why the Vector Acquisition stock is expected to be in focus.

Rocket Lab, which is backed by Lockheed Martin, is a provider of small launchers. As per the report, the agreement could be reached between the two parties today and if that happens, it is highly likely that the Vector Acquisition stock is going to see some action. Vector Acquisition is backed by Vector Capital and today, it might be a good idea for investors to keep an eye on its stock.
