Yamana Gold (AUY) Stock Surges Slowly Amid Recent News: Should You Invest Though?

Yamana Gold stock was having difficult times for the past 5 days. Stock trading $4.25 on July 14. After that the stock has soared by 2.5% on July 15. Starting from July 16 the stock started to plunge in an aggressive manner and feel to the price of $4.06 then it stopped dropping and started to soar. As of the open trading session the stock is trading at $4.13.

Several studies on the Company’s 100%-owned Wasamac project in Quebec were completed in Q3 and Q4 of 2021. These studies provide the Company with important information related to the project and its financial and technical aspects. Results from the studies are consistent with the conclusions of the Company’s prior diligence reviews related to the purchase of Wasapac. The studies were performed only as references to the prior study and are not considered part of the Company’s overall feasibility work related to the project.

The company has completed a preliminary Feasibility Study for the project, which was carried out by its previous owner in 2018. Following the acquisition, Yamana carried out several studies to evaluate the various opportunities identified during the technical diligence process.
